All Biblical Scripture is inspired by God, and serves as the only infallible and authoritative written Word of God (I Timothy 3:16-17).
There are three persons to the Godhead, known as the Trinity; God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19)
God created the universe, and made mankind in His own image. (Genesis 1)
We’ve all fallen short of God’s standard for our lives, making harmful choices (called sin) contrary to His perfect plan. As a result, we’ve separated ourselves from God and have all gone our own way. But God loves us and gave us a chance for a new beginning (Isaiah 59:2-3, Romans 3:23, II Corinthians 5:17).
God sent His only son Jesus Christ, who was morally faultless, to voluntarily die on a cross in our place. He died to demonstrate God’s extraordinary love for us and pay the price for our sin. Three days after laying down His life to be crucified on a cross for us, Jesus rose back to life (John 3:16-17, I Corinthians 15:3-7).
God now offers grace, forgiveness, and eternal life to all who choose to believe in His son Jesus and serve Him as Lord. Jesus Christ is the only way to be saved, enjoy abundant life, and go to Heaven. (Romans 10:9, John 10:10, 14:6).
When we choose to live for Christ, His Holy Spirit comes to live within us, and we become part of God's family. With the Holy Spirit's help we strive to live a life honoring to God, following the example of the life and character of Christ (I Corinthians 3:16, 11:1).
We communicate and demonstrate the love of God to our world, teaching others how to be followers (disciples) of Jesus. Followers of Jesus eagerly anticipate His return one day, to take us home to be with him forever in Heaven. (Matthew 28:19-20, John 14:3, I Thessalonians 4:16-17)
